One Act Plays 2024
What are One Acts?
One-act plays are concise, self-contained theatrical productions that typically run between 30 minutes and an hour. Unlike full-length plays, which are divided into multiple acts and scenes, one-act plays present a complete story in a single, uninterrupted performance.
At SPHS, One Acts is completely student-run. You can apply to be a director or just audition to be in the cast of one!
How do I get involved?
There are a few ways:
Apply to be a director - find a One Act online, or write one yourself! Get the experience of directing your own show, you set the schedule, you make all the decisions!
Audition to be part of the cast - after One Act directors are chosen, auditions will be held after school. More info TBA!
Important Dates
Director applications - due October 18th!
